Character Performer
FAIRYTALE
Fairytale Character Performers and perform in private birthday parties and events, public events, corporate bookings, shows, meet-and-greets, and more in Western Pennsylvania or Massachusetts.
Job Summary
We are looking for individuals of various backgrounds with an outgoing attitude and leadership skills to provide high quality entertainment for children's parties and events. Must be reliable and enthusiastic about portraying any character assigned.
Our fairytale character performer position requires individuals to be comfortable with entertaining large groups of children while maintaining character integrity. We are looking for cast to portray princes, superheroes, fairies and princesses.

Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years old. Special consideration given on a case by case basis for those younger than 18. Parental permission required.
- Must be between 5'2''-5'6'' (females) and 5'6''-6'5'' (males).
-Previous experience as a children's entertertainer preferred but not required.
- Experience in working with children required.
-Singing/Dancing/ Acting/Performing/Theater experience required.
- Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must disclose all tattoos and piercings
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be flexible, follow directions and work as a team.
- Weekend availability (98% of our parties and events are on weekends!)
- Capability of taking, processing, and utilizing critical feedback

MA Requirements:
- Background Check
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Entertaining, conveying characters and expressing emotions in front of a live audience.
- Using body language and movement to bring out character.
- Improvising the reactions of a character to a situation.
- Improving performance based on feedback
- Singing/dancing with children
- Leading large groups of children in activities, games, and crafts
- Maintaining character integrity throughout the party while creating a fun environment for the children
- Availability to volunteer at least 2x yearly
- Ability to apply makeup, false lashes, and contacts with ease
Pay:
- This is a freelance 1099 position
- Pay will vary by the type of event and experience level
- You can expect to earn $50-$100/hr, pay determined by experience
Character Performer
HISTORICAL
Historical Character Performers and perform in both public and private events, schools, corporate bookings, shows, meet-and-greets, and more across Western Pennsylvania .
Job Summary
We are looking for individuals of various backgrounds with an outgoing attitude and leadership skills to provide high quality entertainment for children's parties and events. Must be reliable and enthusiastic about portraying any character assigned.
Our historical character performer position requires individuals to be comfortable with entertaining large groups of children while maintaining character integrity. We are looking for cast to portray historical figures including but not liited to pilgrims, poets, writers, and more.

Requirements:
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Bachelor's degree in theater, speech, or other related fields may be preferred
-Previous experience as a children's entertertainer preferred but not required.
- Experience in working with children required.
-Singing/Dancing/ Acting/Performing/Theater experience required.
- Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must disclose all tattoos and piercings
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to be flexible, follow directions and work as a team.
- Weekday availability for school events
- Familiarity with different styles and schools of acting
- Ability to memorize and deliver lines on cue
- Capability of taking, processing, and utilizing critical feedback
- Willingness to grow into a role and learn new ways to perform
- Extremely flexible and able to work within high-pressure and high-stress environments
- Can easily adapt to new situations

- Ability to apply theatrical makeup and contacts with ease
Pay:
- This is a freelance 1099 position

- You can expect to earn $60-$150/hr, pay determined by experience
Royal Assistant
Royal Assistants (Or as we call them, Lords and Ladies) perform in private birthday parties and events, public events, corporate bookings, shows, meet-and-greets, and more in Western Pennsylvania .
Job Summary
We are looking for individuals of various backgrounds with an outgoing attitude and leadership skills to assist in providing high quality entertainment for children's parties and events. Must be reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a team player.
Our royal assistant position requires individuals to be comfortable with overseeing large groups of children while communicating with parents and performers.

- You can expect to earn $15-$25/hr, pay determined by experience
