Performer
Location: Boston, MA & Surrounding Areas (We service North Shore, South Shore, & Cape Cod)
Job Type: Part-Time, Flexible Schedule
Compensation: $25/hr - $200/hr (Depending on event type, role, and experience) + $0.50 per mile for travel. Additional travel compensation is available when traveling 1+ hours.

Performers will portray a variety of roles, including but not limited to: party assistant, costumed character, and event leader. Applicants must be open to fulfilling all roles as needed and should not be selective about performing only as a costumed character.

Job Description:
We are seeking talented, reliable, and energetic performers to portray classic fairytale characters at private parties and public events. This role requires strong acting, improvisation, and vocal skills to create magical, memorable experiences for children and families.
Responsibilities:

Portray princesses and other fairytale characters at birthday parties, corporate events, and community gatherings. Also includes performative roles as party attendant, event host, and more.

Engage with children and guests through storytelling, singing, games, and interactive activities.

Maintain a high level of character integrity, including accurate costume, makeup, and mannerisms.

Follow performance guidelines and adhere to company expectations for professionalism and punctuality.

Travel to event locations within the Boston area (travel compensation provided).

Keep costumes, wigs, and accessories in excellent condition.

Occasionally participate in photoshoots, promotional events, and charity appearances.
Requirements:

Strong acting, improvisation, and storytelling skills.

Vocal ability (singing experience preferred for princess roles).

Professional, reliable, and great with children.

Outgoing and comfortable performing in front of audiences.

Flexible availability, especially on weekends.

Ability to pass a background check.

Previous performance experience is a plus, but not required.

Audition Invitation
Once we get your initial email and if you fit our initial requirements, you will be asked to record an audition video with the following items:

16 Bar Cut Song: Please perform a 16-bar cut of a princess song that showcases your vocal abilities and stage presence. Feel free to choose a song that resonates with you.

16-Count Dance Routine: If you have dance experience, we'd love to see a 16-count dance routine. Ballet is preferred if you have expertise in this style.

Short Monologue: Share a brief monologue that highlights your acting skills and ability to bring a character to life.
Interview
During this stage, you will participate in an interview with our hiring team to assess your qualifications and suitability for the role.

Job Offer
At this point, you will be presented with a formal job offer that outlines the terms and conditions of your employment. Upon request, you may have the opportunity to shadow a party or event to see what we do before committing.
